Job Summary:

Our partner is undergoing a major digital transformation and is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Data Platform Reporting Lead to design, develop, and manage finance and procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics within the Azure-based Enterprise Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks).

This hands-on, leadership role requires expertise in utilizing SAP data, the Azure cloud ecosystem, and Tableau visualization to drive impactful business insights.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reporting solutions end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and real-time access to critical business data for decision-making.

This position requires deep technical expertise in SAP Basis, S/4HANA system administration, cloud technologies, and a hands-on approach to managing and optimizing both the SAP S/4HANA landscape and SAP BTP infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

SAP Data Reporting & Analytics:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of financial and procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics within the SAP Enterprise Data Platform.
  
  
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) data to create business-driven, real-time reporting solutions for Finance and Procurement teams.
  
  
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
  

Azure Cloud Data Platform Integration:

• Architect, develop, and manage reporting solutions on Azure Data Platform, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Databricks.
  
  
• Integrate SAP data with Azure services to build efficient ETL pipelines and ensure seamless reporting capabilities across systems.
  
  
• Implement and manage data pipelines, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency within the data lake environment.
  
  

Tableau Visualization and Reporting:

• Lead the creation of interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards in Tableau.
  
  
• Design intuitive user interfaces for stakeholders to access and interpret critical business data easily.
  
  
• Optimize Tableau reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  
  

Data Governance & Quality:

• Define and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure that reporting and analytics are built on high-quality, consistent, and compliant data.
  
  
• Collaborate with data owners to establish data quality rules, validation checks, and automated monitoring to guarantee the integrity of financial and procurement data.
  
  
• Ensure reporting solutions comply with relevant data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  
  

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Work directly with business stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to understand reporting needs and define KPIs.
• Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP, Azure, and Tableau developers, to implement and deliver end-to-end reporting solutions.
  
  

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes to ensure efficient use of resources and high responsiveness.
  
  
• Proactively monitor data flows and performance metrics across the Azure Data Platform and Tableau environment to resolve issues and optimize reporting capabilities.
  
  

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in SAP, Azure, and data analytics, and continuously integrate innovative approaches to reporting and analytics.
  
  
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in reporting processes, ensuring that the organization stays at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.
  
  

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

• Conduct training sessions for business users and technical teams to ensure the effective use of reporting tools and data platforms.
  
  
• Mentor junior data analysts and consultants, helping them develop their technical and business acumen in reporting and analytics.
  
  

Requirements

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP reporting, analytics, and data management, including experience in Finance and Procurement reporting.
  
  
• Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure (ADF, ADLS, Databricks) and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  
  
• Strong experience in building ETL pipelines and integrating data from various SAP systems into Azure-based platforms for reporting.
  
  
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and familiarity with SAP Finance and Procurement modules.
  
  
• Hands-on experience in data governance, data quality management, and building analytics solutions for large enterprises.
  
  

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  
• Relevant certifications in SAP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), Azure, or Tableau are highly desirable.
  
  

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud technologies (ADF, ADLS, Databricks) and their use in data engineering and reporting solutions.
  
  
• Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and developing scalable data solutions in SAP and Azure.
  
  
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau for report/dashboard design, optimization, and deployment.
  
  
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data models for Finance and Procurement.
  
  

Process and Methodologies:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for managing reporting projects.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and reporting best practices in a cloud-based environment.
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the aviation or travel industry.
  
  
• Experience with SAP Data Intelligence or other SAP analytics tools.
  
  
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools and BI platforms (Power BI, Qlik).
